I kept wondering why the editor didn't say something, why they didn't fix the glaringly obvious issues. Nothing the characters did was remotely logical and the author didn't bother to explain it. The story went from awesome to 'wtf?' There were plot holes and loads of them. Then I got to the second half of the book and the sirens and. It was a modern day murder mystery and it rocked. Review 1: The first half of this book was amazing - the pacing was perfection, the storytelling was excellent, and I was totally in love.
